Tia Kennedy, DMD
Dr. Kennedy was raised in Belmont, Mississippi where she graduated Salutatorian of her 2003 class. She continued her education at the University of North Alabama in Florence, AL, and received a Bachelor's Degree with honors in Biology and a minor in Mathematics in 2007. Dr. Kennedy earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Since founding Cypress Creek Dental in 2012, Dr. Kennedy has and continues to attend advanced continuing education courses so she is able to stay at the forefront of advances in the dental field. She has furthered her dental training to include dental implants, Invisalign clear removable orthodontics, and Botox cosmetics. She loves providing these services to the Florence, Tuscumbia, and Muscle Shoals areas. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon, and her two children, Darby (12) and Reid (9).
Whitney Flippo, DMD
Dr. Whitney Flippo was born and raised in Florence, AL where she graduated from Wilson High School. She attended the University of North Alabama for undergraduate school receiving a Bachelor's degree with honors in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Spanish in 2012. Dr. Flippo earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2018. Dr. Flippo is skilled in general dentistry and also continues to attend courses to learn the latest advances in dentistry. Dr. Flippo provides Invisalign orthodontic treatments to her patients as well. In addition to providing exceptional care to her dental patients, she is a mom to her two kids Annie (2) and Foster (1) and enjoys spending her free time with them and her husband Joe.

Stephanie is a registered dental hygienist. She is from Rogersville, AL, and graduated from Calhoun Community College with her dental assisting degree prior to her hygiene training. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and family, shopping, going to concerts, and boating in the summer months. She looks forward to meeting you!

Kess is Dr. Kennedy's dental assistant and is a registered dental hygienist. She graduated from Muscle Shoals high school in 2018. She finished UAB's dental hygiene program in 2022 and has a bright future in the dental field. She has a kind, calming personality and loves to help our patients feel comfortable and relaxed while in our office!

In 2020 she received her dental hygiene license from the University of Alabama Birmingham followed by being certified to administer dental anesthesia. She is bubbly and happy and loves making our patients comfortable and calm during their appointments. Sydney also loves spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and her dog Bentley.
